Njavara Kizhi: The whole body is massaged with Njavara which is a variety of rice prepared in medicinal decoction with milk somewhat like pudding. Then small boluses are made and tied up in the muslin bag which is then applied on the skin. It acts as deep tissue massager that improve functions of nervous system and various joints.

Siro Dhara: various herbal oils, medicated milk & butter milk are poured on the forehead. It is effective for insomnia, impaired memory, spondylitis, paraplegia, fatigue, lack of vitality and head-neck problems.

Siro Vasthi: Lukewarm oil is poured in the cap which is tightly fitted on the head. facial paralysis, Migraine, dryness of nostrils, severe headaches and other Vata- related diseases are treated with Siro Vasthi.

Kati Vasthi: Oil which is warm and medicated is poured in a small tank-like structure which is prepared with herbal powder paste, on the back. Kati Vasthi treats lower back pain, lumbar pain, degenerative vertebral diseases and disc prolapse.

Ela Kizhi: It is a treatment for Osteo arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Spondylosis and sports injuries in which small bags or the boluses of Herbal leaves are applied to the whole body.

Nasyam: It is the application of herbal oil or juices to the nose which eliminates doshas in the head and neck. It is effective for paralytic and mental disorders.
